"This is a charming and welcoming local spot where both the staff and customers make you feel at home—though perhaps my dog played a role in that! "New landlord, new team. Soft opening tonight after taking the keys on Tuesday. A few subtle changes to layout and decor. It all works really well. Place was rammed. Really nice atmosphere, still a proper local but new bar staff and kitchen properly on their A game. We had steak, salad and truffle/parmesan chips. £19 and absolutely delicious. Well worth a visit, especially as the coming weeks likely to see ever more upgrades. Loved it. Well done Harry and team."

"Have visited a few times recently for their cavery. It's always feels a calm place to come to away from the stresses of the week. Their service is very good with the right mix of professionalism blended with friendliness and familiarity. The saying of entering as a guest and leaving as a friend seems to ring true here. We particularly like the Irish Operations Manager whose name we always forget. He is exemplary at his job. Nothing is too much and we always have a laugh when he is there he alone is five star, but this is not to detract from his team who each brings their own skill. The food has never fallen short of exceptional from starters, to main, to dessert. No complaints. There is sufficient parking and turning spaces. Toilets have been hit and miss but when issues have been noted to reception they do seem to deal with them swiftly. It's just a really pleasant place to go for a Sunday dinner."

"Firstly, I 'd say the food was comensurate, with the prices, ie high prices with good quality food. The salad was a bit over oiled ! Waitress yea cash or card? Gave £20 note....... Waitress £3 change Customer Thankyou ? Waitress Yea Customer You didn 't say 'please ' or 'thankyou ' during the entire transaction ? Waitress oh Waitress have a nice day SIR Customer no need to be facitious, I only asked why you never say 'please ' or 'thankyou ' Waitress rolled eyes carried on polishing spoons. The problem is, that no matter haw good the food is; if the customer experience is disrespectful, then they 'll never reach the next level. They tend to forget, that the customer is number 1 !! No customers no business no job no wages Customer service needs improvement, as an absolute MINIMUM, a 'plesse ' 'thank you ' would go a long way."

"We joined in on some of their "special" evening events before, and they were always fantastic. This was our first time trying their breakfast, and it did not disappoint. The fresh ingredients were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, making it a perfect start to the day. The staff was as friendly and helpful as ever. We're definitely planning to return and have already booked for the Valentine's dinner!"
