"from the uni to the home. the bear is a beautiful pub, restaurant with a greene king menu. a much better and varied menu than our local greene king. that was great. I chose the halloumi garden salad that was served warm and was absolutely delicious. my son chose hunters huh he said the best he ever cost. the chips were cooked to perfection, which we hope to return soon."

beautiful hotel and very welcoming, caroline was so charming and friendly! could not mistake the stay at all, great eating, value for money, helpful staff and a relaxing atmosphere. I'd like to come back!

Very poor service. food was over cooked, we had salad on a hot plate, so we had cooked salad, it over an 3/4hour for starters and hour to get the main course which rubbish. Staff we friendly. If we had been told there was a wedding going we would have gone somewhere else.

My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary. We had a fantastic stay. lovely clean room that was spacious and comfy, the staff were friendly and attentive. Had a delicious meal and drinks. Very covid conscious making us feel safe. We would certainly stay again.

Came today for a lunch and it was absolutely beautiful in every way. The grounds are lovely and the staff are friendly,welcoming and the pub was generally so clean. The meals are gorgeous and the view of the lake was lovely,really had a lovely time here and we will be back. Keep up the brilliant work bear crew
