Popped in for a coffee and ended up with coffee and wine! Good service and just what we needed at the time!

Thoroughly enjoyed the food here. They were great to squeeze us in the last minute after we'd travelled down from Glasgow.

In Millom for 4 nights. Had tried other food options first 3 nights sort of unsure about pub from outside. But all good, very friendly people, and the food was great. Had special, hoisin chicken stir-fry Ver carta

If you are after affortable, clean, well kept rooms with good food and extremely friendly staff then this is a great place for you. I have stayed here several times now and this is my goto place in the area.

We only came in for a few drinks after a walk around Borwick rails . Quite a large pub with a few ales on the pumbs it also sells food with a varied menu the pubs itself is a stones throw away from the train station and the theatre

The Bear On The Square in Millom is a great place to watch the EM 2024 games! The atmosphere is lively, and the large screens provide a great view of the action. The food and drinks are good, though service can be a bit slow when it's busy. Overall, a fun spot for sports fans. Four stars! Ver carta

We stopped in for dinner whilst staying just outside Millom. We had zero expectations and we were all impressed with the food. Nice portion sizes and flavours and quick service, next time we're in town we'd also spend some time in the sports bar area too. Nice place, recommend this highly if you're in Millom.

We had booked a hotel in millom and we called in the bear for some food, really dissapointed the chicken burger breast was tough the chips where soggy but hard in the middle, as this was the only pub near the hotel we decided not to stay as didn't want to go back to the pub, inside looks like a cafe , millom is also run down town.

For our 10 years together we thought about going out to try the local eateries. The bear in the square was in millom not for from where we were staying. The lay out was good, we sat in the restaurant part and bar wa split between our part and the main bar. The food was really nice, both of us got burgers with chips and coleslaw. Inhad the soup of the day which was French onion and my wife had halloumi fries. Good sizes and good prices. The food arrived fast and it was nice and hot and fresh. Nice pub and nice food Ver carta
