Reviews looked great. Need a stop in the way. Rang when close and booked a table. Other party travellers where later thanks us. Staff were great and we happy to wait. When the food came it was great. The only negative was it was the lack of customers. Get down here the food and beer are great

10 of us with a variety of meals which everyone agreed were all amazing. We will be back to work our way through the menu.. others said the same and would recommend it to friends and family. We could not have asked for a better night out food,drink and service were all excellent Thank you Raqi

I went to this restaurant for lunch and found it to be run-down with a weekday menu that seems to consist of reheated frozen dishes. I believe that some of the positive reviews I have read may be misleading, so I would not recommend this place for food (although the Sunday roast may be an exception).

Had our wedding reception here in April. Rachel and her team are incredible no job was to much allowed us to come and go in the week running up to the wedding to alow us to make sure everything we had planned went to plan then on the day absolutely pulled it out the bag. I would highly recommend The Bell and the team for all you wants and needs

We found this by accident because first choice was fully booked but this comes into the serendipity genre loved it. The food was beautifully cooked, just what you would want for a Sunday roast. The veges were obviously freshly cooked just right and gluten free options were available. The service was very friendly and we will definitely go back next opportunity.

Came across this pub quite by chance on a midweek break when we wanted to stop somewhere for Lunch. We got a very friendly welcome and the landlady made some recommendations from the menu. Her top recommendation was their home made pies, which my wife selected, and she was not disappointed. I had a ploughman’s which was equally as good. Very much worth a visit if you’re in the area

We have just had a wonderful Sunday lunch at the Bell. We were a group of 8 and everyone cleared their plates! The pub and restaurant were full but the service was still first class. We live in Great Paxton and in times where pubs are closing their doors in unprecedented numbers, we are delighted at the success of our local village pub. This is largely down to Rachael and her team. They work tirelessly to create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. We’ll be back again soon!

Once again Rachael and her amazing team at The Bell, made our friends and family celebration an evening to remember. It was my niece's 40th birthday and we all had a fantastic day. Rachael was on the go the whole time making sure all the guests had everything they needed. Staff serving the drinks were friendly and efficient. We decided on a BBQ and the food just kept coming. The marquee in the garden is such a bonus as we used it for additional tables and chairs. We had about 120 guests in all. Thank you again to Rachael and her team. Gig

We had our daughters Christening reception here today and it was wonderful. The food was beautiful and everything was very reasonably priced. We had so many compliments from our guests. Raqi was a delight and super helpful and nothing was too much trouble including allowing us to come in early this morning to decorate despite having a wedding reception there last night! (it was already clean and tidy ready for us! She kept in contact in the run up and checked in with us regarding the current renovations (which are coming along nicely and already look great! we will definitely look to hold another event at The Bell and I'd encourage others to do the same and support this lovely business we wi...
