Our table was ready when we arrived, and we were greeted by friendly staff. The setting was nice, and the food was lovely. The only thing that slightly let it down was the wait for the food as it took quite a long time, but once it did, it was very tasty. Would book again.

Charming, old-world pub with a creative, varied menu that featured both celebratory and ordinary fare. Service was helpful and friendly. Fantastic brews! Plenty of space (we had a table that seated five people), and the food was hot and ample when it arrived. The coeliac in our group found the cottage pie with mash to be suitable, the burger was tasty with intriguing sauces, and the guests who enjoyed the chicken commented on how juicy it was.

We had a pleasant table and the service was quick and efficient. However, the standout of our experience was the food. My partner really enjoyed her slow-cooked shoulder of lamb shepherd's pie, and my sirloin steak may have been the best I've ever had. The mushrooms were also excellent. It seems like The Bells has a new manager and chef, and it definitely made a positive impact. The only downside was the limited selection of starters, but we opted to skip that and have dessert instead, which was delicious. Ver carta
