an early Christmas dinner, which is set up by the wonderful barry, minenwirt. bier selection was superb as normal and in excellent condition. a good meal was enjoyed by the west kent camra filiale.

good eating and decent ales, I'm a fan of her "gentleman's measure" of spirit and choice or mixer, it's a great idea and I should take it more places. will visit again when in the opposite seems like a great place to become a regular. thanks!

We stumbled upon this fantastic pub by accident and couldn't have been happier with the experience. The staff were very accommodating and even provided a high chair for us. We will definitely be returning. The price per person ranges from £10 to £20. The food, service, and atmosphere all scored a perfect 5 out of 5.

My wife,myself and our grownup daughter had lunch here a couple of days ago. The pub used to be called 'The Black Boy ' which my wife and I used when we were courting 55 years ago. Price 's have changed since then but first impression on walking in ,was it was like a pub should be. Basic furniture, spacious and welcoming. I found the menu a pleasant change from the usual pub menu, a little quirky which was good. I had Welsh Rarebit, my wife and daughter had Ploughman 's sandwich. They were brilliantly presented and adequate. The rest of the menu was interesting and made a good change from the usual pub menus. Ver carta
