We began with well-kept beer, which was offered during happy hour. Dinner was fantastic—the beef and Stilton pie was delicious, accompanied by plenty of vegetables, chips, and gravy. The crème brûlée for dessert was perfection. The staff was very pleasant; great job, everyone! Overall, I would rate the service and location both a 5 out of 5.

I had a delightful roast here today. It was very enjoyable, and I would definitely return. The prices were reasonable, and everything was fresh. My girlfriend had the nut roast, which was incredibly tasty. The sticky toffee pudding was delicious as well. The service was excellent, and overall it was a lovely visit. Service: 4. Last night, we were thrilled to have the opportunity to enjoy a meal, and wow, we were not disappointed! The food and service were fantastic, and I can recommend this place 100%. The steak paired with Black Sheep Ale was one of the best dishes I've ever tasted; it melted in my mouth and was absolutely delicious. There were six of us, and everyone agreed that the food was exceptional. A big thank you to the staff for making our Saturday night out so memorable!

I can no longer recommend this place if I tried! My friend Joe and I went for a lovely walk on a pleasant day, and we certainly built up an appetite. The food was delicious, the ambiance was perfect, and the staff—who I believe were the owners—were fantastic hosts. They were very friendly and courteous. Joe McKenzie described it as "a dream come true," as he found this oasis of calm and sanctuary. He doesn't use social media, but thanks again to the young staff, we will definitely be back soon!
