Popped in for an early evening meal, the food and the guys who run the pub were great.

I had an amazing family dinner at this restaurant. The owners made us feel incredibly welcome. It's a charming village pub with wonderful food. I highly recommend it, and they are also dog-friendly!

Great place, peaceful, with nice, soft music and chatter rather than 'bangin choons. ' Food, service, general ambience was civilised, courteous and extremely helpful. We were made to feel welcome and enjoyed every minute. Will certainly visit again when in the area.

What a fabulous find for us today. We came upon this lovely village pub just as we had decided we were hungry. The food was, to say the least, amazing. Good portions and fabulous friendly service. They were able to cater for a very fussy little eater as well. We will definitely be back! Ver carta

We began with well-kept beer, which was offered during happy hour. Dinner was fantastic—the beef and Stilton pie was delicious, accompanied by plenty of vegetables, chips, and gravy. The crème brûlée for dessert was perfection. The staff was very pleasant; great job, everyone! Overall, I would rate the service and location both a 5 out of 5.

I had a delightful roast here today. It was very enjoyable, and I would definitely return. The prices were reasonable, and everything was fresh. My girlfriend had the nut roast, which was incredibly tasty. The sticky toffee pudding was delicious as well. The service was excellent, and overall it was a lovely visit. Service: 4. Last night, we were thrilled to have the opportunity to enjoy a meal, and wow, we were not disappointed! The food and service were fantastic, and I can recommend this place 100%. The steak paired with Black Sheep Ale was one of the best dishes I've ever tasted; it melted in my mouth and was absolutely delicious.
