This pub is fab, staff are super friendly.. Nothing is too much trouble for them.. Good is amazing, cannot fault it at all..always too much so often need a doggy bag haha... Try it you won't be disappointed X

Lovely place with friendly staff. Had to wait for our mess cooked but they were delicious when they came. Great choice of wines to go with meal. Very clean and relaxing surroundings will definitely go back again soon. Highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic! The dining experience was amazing, and the staff were friendly, warm, and welcoming. I will definitely return. I had a medium rare filet steak, and it was cooked to perfection. The blue cheese sauce complemented the steak wonderfully.

We booked a table for our weekly treat and were warmly welcomed upon arrival by a lovely host. We ordered our appetizers and main courses, and they arrived promptly. The food was abundant, cooked to perfection, and absolutely delicious. The staff was exceptional and went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. We will definitely be returning soon!

10 of us went to celebrate a friend's special birthday. We had a beautiful meal (very good portions) and the service was excellent. Took a cake along and our friend was made to feel very special when the landlord brought the cake out, involving most of the people in the pub creating if possible a fab atmosphere. Thoroughly recommend this place. Definitely an all rounder.

After reading some positive reviews, we decided to visit the Black Dog for Sunday lunch, and we were thrilled with our choice. We both opted for the two-meat option priced just under £18. Our meals arrived on generous plates filled with plenty of quality, delicious meat, along with Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, and parsnips. On the side, we were given dishes of mash, vegetables, cauliflower cheese, and a boat of gravy. Everything was incredibly tasty; we couldn't have asked for more. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4.
