"Just been for Sunday lunch and will certainly return. Their COVID protocols were very sensible and service was excellent. Only one cask ale, Timmy Taylors Landlord, was on offer which is sensible at this time as it only keeps at its best for a few...days. It was in perfect condition. The roast was the best I have had in a very long time. Many different veg I think each cooked to perfection, and a cracking Yorkshire. Extra gravy was supplied in a jug which was a nice touch as I like plenty. Desert was a Brownie with candied clementine (sublime and chantilly cream. Spot on!"

Great food and friendly staff. Nice outdoor area with a small marquee and picnic tables. Good beer and nice lunch menu. Will come again!

Lovely relaxing meal out- amazing food and friendly staff. The Covid measures have been carefully thought out to ensure everyone can safely dine out in a relaxing environment. We will definitely be back soon!

that was nice to eat? I asked for an extra yorkshire pudding for my little one and I was charged a very small dish of flower cauliflower cheese between seemed a little stingy. I feel that the desserts are too expensive.

Evening meal for Good choice of food and drinks . Food is of highest quality . Staff following Covid rules and tables are well spaced out. We ate inside but had choice of outside if preferred.The blue cheese arancini starter was outstanding. Ver carta

Top quality and very tasty roast dinner. Lamb, beef pork all melt in the mouth tasty deliciousness. I would happily eat here every sunday!the roast potatoes were perfect and the home made gravy amazing. High end cooking by chef Harry and welcoming and friendly...hosting by Sue. Highly reccomend to others.

excellent brat on the black horse, the bark meat and the rack of the lamb were immense! . delicious bratkartoffels, towering yorkhsire and very tasty engraving. thank you. harry for your great food. this can be our last dinner roast before they go for their new...fine culinary adventure they will be missed!. I wish them all good for their new adventure.
