"We have been looking for a good Chinese take away for as long as we can remember. The Mulan was recommended by our good friend Miles, so we ordered a take away last night (14/04/23). My wife and I both agreed that it was the best Chinese food we have ever tasted! The king prawn in ginger and onions was to die for, as was the chicken chow mien and sweet and sour chicken. It is collection only, which we didn't mind as it is near to where we live and the staff serving were lovely, polite and attentive. This is now going to be our go to Chinese takeaway and we will definitely be ordering again very soon! The food was hot and was full of vegetables (went to another one recently that was just different colours of beige), whereas the food at The Mulan was colourful and very fresh. Big thank you to all at The Mulan it was really lovely."

"The fish and chips were fantastic! We are visiting family in the UK and had a large group, adults, a teenager and two children total). We were able to book a table and it was ready as soon as we arrived. Our family who lives in the UK were very impressed as well, they commented that this was proper fish and chips. Definitely try the mushy peas! I had never heard of them but they were out of this world good!! Miller’s was awesome, service was great, food was great and we loved it. We are spoiled and will compare all other fish and chips against Miller’s."

"This restaurant has a fantastic playground for kids and offers beautiful seating both inside and outside. The pub has a friendly atmosphere. The food was quite good—definitely the best chips I've ever tasted! However, the steak was a bit thin and overcooked. On the bright side, the tomato was exceptional, and the fish was great as well. The pfefferminz sauce was enjoyable, though a little extra stock or salt would improve it. As for the sticky toffee pudding, while the sauce was delightful, the cake had an unexpected crisp texture, which wasn't the soft mouthfeel I had anticipated. Overall, I plan to return!"

"Surprisingly lively for early on a Saturday evening. Mainly diners but some drinkers as well. Good friendly service and quick as plenty of staff. Table (for 5) quickly available (in the bar) and typical pub grub served within 10 minutes or so. 3 hand pulled beers available although 2 were very similar blondes. Car park a bit small for the popularity of the pub but street parking appeared to be acceptable as well. Really is worth a visit."
