We’ve been stuck before and pitched up twice last minute at last service, just before pm, the manager has always accommodated us, even though both times we had no booking Wish more places were like the boarding house. I love the relaxed feel of this place. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The steak pie was delicious and very generous portion. The service was well-timed and friendly.

Met up with friends here for lunch. The atmosphere is great and the service is excellent. I like the way they do not hurry you but give you time between courses.The food was very good and substantial. Definitely recommend a visit.

Went along for a surprise and what a surprise. Heard some differing reports but nothing be better.staff were young vibrant helpfully. Food was to a very high standard and reasonably priced too..overall a great place to eat had a great time..will be back. Cheers
