The Botanist - Carta

Only been for drinks, but every time I have been it has a good atmosphere vibe. Food looks amazing but yet to try.

Excellent, good weather meant customers outside simple getting served, beers limited, mostly lager but good glass not plastic beaker.

Looked at menu ,cheese bread no longer available,salt n pepper onion petals no longer available and the cheese brie fondant thing now has onion marmalade in bottom....left without ordering Ver carta

We have had the most fabulous Sunday lunch. Layla could not have been more attentive and the chef was amazing with the allergies in our group. I hope next time we come Layla is our server. Absolutely made our day.

The restaurant had a unique atmosphere that was easy to pick up on. The service was good, but the food, while well presented, was fairly average and overpriced. I may hesitate before returning to this establishment.

Fantastic time at the Cocktail Masterclass! James was a great fun and informative teacher. Loved that we could go behind the bar and actually make the cocktails rather than being handed everything separately .Would definitely recommend : Ver carta

I have visited several The Botanist restaurants before, but this was my first time at the West Bridgford location. I must say, it exceeded my expectations and I plan on returning to this specific restaurant soon. The staff were all incredibly helpful, friendly, and accommodating of any allergies. The food was scrumptious, served promptly, and extremely flavorful. I tried the katsu chicken curry for the first time, and it was truly delightful.

My husband and I went to celebrate our wedding anniversary, as suggested by our daughter. The service from Jack and Bex was exceptional - they were friendly, welcoming, and attentive. They even congratulated us on our anniversary. We both ordered the hanging kebabs - I had chicken and my husband had lamb. They were flavorful, perfectly cooked, and delicious. We give a perfect rating of 5 for the service, food, atmosphere, cleanliness, and wonderful decor.

I was looking forward to celebrating at the Botanist. A live band, great reviews and the food looked amazing. But when you eat out it’s also about the service. We were seated under a speaker which was triggering my tinnitus. The restaurant was fairly empty. I asked if we could move to a certain table. The waitress seemed upset by the request but went away to check. I approached her, she had her back to me whilst she was speaking to the barman, I didn’t hear the conversation but when she turned around she wasn’t happy to see I was standing there, she started aggressively telling me that she was checking. I hadn’t said a word at this point. She repeated herself a few times. I was only waiting... Ver carta
