"Never one to write restaurant reviews but very disappointed. It is very interesting to see from past reviews others were also treated in the same way and shoved by the door if the restaurant preferred the look of other customers (generally if you are over 60 and wearing tweed you get priority. Laughable. Booked a table a good few weeks before a planned anniversary dinner, requested a particular side of the restaurant so we would not be sitting near the door, which was agreed by the restaurant . On arrival the waiter gave our table to a couple who arrived at the same time. NONE of the staff would do anything about it, they didn’t care, and we were put near the door, where I had requested not to be seated! . We decided to leave as we were quite upset with the treatment and lack of care we received. We will not return and will not recommend to anyone. Staff are unable to handle simple routines, this really shows the difference of a slick and professional restaurant with great customer service and places like this utterly useless!"

"Beautiful food aside what a lovely owner. It speaks volumes when one of the take away memories was the quality of service and social interactions. This is a proper French restaurant. All the staff members mother tongue is French. A healthy number of the clientele were French too, which speaks volumes for the quality of the adopted cuisine. The food was excellent, an amuse bouche was followed by seasonal mussels and one of prettiest, and delicate desserts I’ve had the pleasure of eating. An enjoyable French experience in Cheltenham. Why head to France? Make sure you book well in advance."

"so. I don't write many cries, I wrote that. the domain 16 regarding personal, atmosphere and of course eating is one of the best restaurants I have ever visited. I was already often in france and eating in domaine 16 beats everywhere where I had eaten in france. I wish their business progressed nothing but success, phenomenal work. they have my business, I will be a returning customer, I will bring friends and family to them, and will do nothing than singing their lob. ps for whoever reads this if you love or meet someone who does it, you make yourself/they are a service by not going here."

"I love this independent coffee shop. Cakes delicious. Staff lovely and efficient. I ordered an iced coffee and a glass of water to drink in. ONLY QUESTION IS WHY SERVE the coffee in a single use plastic cup???? Water was in a glass. We cannot afford to do this to our planet anymore. Please please stop. Perhaps we could ask for it to be served in a glass in future…….. ?"
