"My sisters and I met up for a Christmas meal at this restaurant. The food did take a while to come out, but it seemed like they were serving all the tables at the same time, which was understandable. I ordered the Christmas turkey lunch, and it was absolutely delicious with very generous portions, although it wasn't very hot. The Christmas pudding I ordered was also a small portion compared to my sister's apple pie, which was a bit disappointing. The pudding was so hard that I couldn't even put my spoon through it, and it was clear that it hadn't been microwaved at all. I informed the waitress, who apologized and replaced it for me. Overall, we did enjoy our meal and would consider coming back again."

The food at this restaurant is excellent with a wide variety of options. The service is also top-notch and the prices are reasonable. Parking is not a problem either.

What really annoys me is a restaurant where the server doesn't tell you which items are unavailable before you order. This happened twice on this visit. Otherwise, good all round.

Living nearby, this restaurant is a must-visit spot for us. However, it can be a bit inconsistent - sometimes the food and service are fantastic, but other times they fall short, especially when they are busy. This recent visit was decent, but not outstanding. Additionally, we noticed that the portion sizes have gotten smaller while the prices have gone up.

My friend and I had a pleasant lunch this week (Oct 27th) at this restaurant with a beautiful view from the window. The service was excellent and the food was of good quality. However, I felt that the portion size of the fish cake option was too small for the price. I ordered one fish cake and only received two small pieces, which I felt was not a good value for the price. On the other hand, my friend ordered the steak and chips and her portion was much larger and more satisfying.

We have been to the Brassmill several times before and had been very pleased with it, but our latest visit was very disappointing. Even though we arrived early in the evening (7.00 pm), at least two items on the menu were not available my grandson was very disappointed, as they were what he wanted. They did not have what my daughter wanted to drink, so she had to have something else. My wife chose a salad, but did not want the pineapple and ginger dressing, so asked for an alternative she was told that nothing else was available, which we did not believe: surely any kitchen has oil and vinegar available and could have made a French Dressing sheer laziness!
