"We moved away from the area so haven’t visited in a couple of years but returned to the area last week to see friends and thought we’d pop in as we used to dine a lot when we lived nearby. Walked in and waited for what felt like an age to be acknowledged. We were shown to a table and a drinks order taken. We waited for a long time to receive drinks and when they arrived (without an apology) our food order was taken. Waited for salad bowls and went to get salad. Nothing amazing about the salad bar, could have done with a top up and a wipe down. Disappointing when salad is something you are famous for. The staff looked miserable and fed up so didn’t want to call someone over for another drink. Got our food again nothing amazing, looked like it was launched on the plate from across the kitchen. Chips luke warm and corn soggy and tasteless. Nobody asked us if we were ok, too busy talking about having to get their friends to fill out reviews for the manager to be happy. No wonder they are making up reviews or getting their friends to do them. We got the bill, paid and left without dessert. We got back in the car and both said how downhill the restaurant has gone. With all the harvesters being changed into steakhouses I am surprised this place is still a harvester as it Definately isn’t one of the good ones."

Service was slow. Waited over 30 minutes for our meals to be served. The staff did not seem happy to be there and it made a tense dining atmosphere. Food wasn’t great. Chips were lukewarm

I have been coming here since I can remember and I’m never disappointed, great food, great staff and the free salad bar is always top notch.. especially topping it with fake bacon bits. Highly Recommended

Good service by Toni -Jane ,food served quick . Staff friendly and helpful . The food was delicious , starters and main meal really tasty and worth waiting for . A lovely meal in a nice place with nice staff

We waited an age for drinks order to be taken, another wait for drinks to arrive. another wait for food order and salad bowls. Not enough staff for number of tables. waitresses tried their best but it really wasn't fair on them. food not worth the wait. lukewarm at best. Harvester should be ashamed of themselves for putting profits before their people.

We don’t often go to harvester but saw there was a 40% off offer on so thought we would give it a try. Started off ok, sat down placed our order and received our salad bowls. We went to the salad buffet and could see a lot of flies. It really put us off. But more so when another diner pointed out the dead fly in the salad itself to a staff member. Not very appealing.

We went there on Sunday 10th Sept at 12.30 pm, there were 8 of us (5 adults, 3 kids). The female server was really good, sadly the food did not match the service. Ice machine not working, no onion nest, pasta products, cookie products available even though they are on the menu. At the salad bar the coleslaw was grey in colour. The burger buns. The portion seem to have shrunk in size, and the burgers were dense and tough. Sadly it seems to have gone down hill since we were there last which was about 12 months ago.

All I can say is I’m very disappointed. We eat here regularly at lunch time but the first time we come as a family for an evening meal it puts me off returning. Under staffed, cold sub standard food, foul mouthed diners sweating at staff, made my birthday meal one I don’t want to remember. The management need to take a serious look and these issues as until you get more staff and not leave food sitting on the pass for 10 minutes to then me served to your customers I won’t be returning. The one plus point was our server. He was very attentive and had to apologise to so many customers for what was going on around him.
