The Brook Inn - Carta

We had a fantastic lunch at the Brook. The good was delicious and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The menu was imaginative ,we could have eaten everything on it!

I have dined at this restaurant before and really enjoyed the food. However, it was too cold to sit inside and fully enjoy the atmosphere. I would have given it five stars if that had been resolved. Ver carta

Excellent service , proper country pub two open log fires crackling . The menu didnt have the greatest of choice but was local produce on the menu and was exactly what I wanted . The food was very nice and great size portion couldnt fit...in a pudding .

Really impressed Great food and well cooked with friendly staff who remember you and make you feel welcome and really looked after then this is the place for you. The Brook for me has a calm cosy atmosphere where you can snuggle away in a...corner near an open wood fire and relax.

The Brook is on its way back to its former greatness. The chef is top-notch, producing delicious and creative dishes with skill. The pea and garlic soup was fantastic, and the belly pork was substantial and perfectly cooked. The staff is friendly and attentive, making for a pleasant dining experience. It's definitely worth the price, so why not give it a try? You won't be disappointed. Ver carta

This is a hidden gem nestled in the countryside. The chef has a real talent for tastes and flavours. They have recently launched a January seasonal menu. The short rib with bourguinion sauce and mashed potato is as good as you could get anywhere. If...what your looking for is mass food then don’t bother. If what your looking for is quality, taste and a good experience. Then this is the place for you.

I’ve always loved this place, but sorry to say it’s really declined Service was terrible, not checking our drinks, waiting ages to take our order (but so quiet as others have said) having to literally find people and flag them down. Food tasted good,...fish and chips was fab! Mushroom strudel was so tiny compared (like a starter), tasted great but could have done with half the portion again to be honest. One of our faves but would be inclined to try somewhere else for a bit and go back when things have maybe improved

I've been on the bach for a long time, with a great experience, but I'm sad to say the last 5 or 6 times it was very cold in there, I'm tired of drinking my drink and shaking with cold hands. no one illuminates the fire for the bar and it has no radiators. there are spotlights in the restaurant for the diners, but not for people who just want to enjoy a drink. I can only assume that the 2 heaters are on timers in the restaurant because I couldn't get through warm. that's started since the beginning of the last year, about 5 months. it is also not the cheapest pub in the world.
