Beautiful shop full of wonderful items. The cafe upstairs is fantastic too. Highly recommend “The Donker”!

What a quaint little Cafe upstairs in the Car and Kitchen, produce source from local businesses and farms, all freshly cooked.

Best breakfast we’ve had in ages! Amazing sourdough toast, very tasty avocado, feta tomato. Great coffee, friendly staff. Bigger than it looks from the outside, above a lovely shop.

Visited this shop and cafe a few times during our trip to Settle- for coffee and cake and a little shopping- great to have everything in one place. Easy to order from outside and good efficient service.

The Cafe was superb. Good prices and staff were fantastic, really helping with the children. Great service, very good coffee and food. We loved the music choice and it was great to hear one of the staff singing behind the counter. Really good atmosphere.

Came across this place by accident when in the shop. If you're infirm it may be difficult as it's upstairs, but otherwise great food a good price, very clean and bright.Service spot on and staff very helpful and pleasant. Most of the food is made on the premises. Free WiFi to.Try it!

Had the pleasure of browsing in the attached gift shop made a purchase assisted by a very pleasant and professional retail assistant, (named Sophie I believe). This lady was very well informed and able to advise, I have to say she is an absolute credit to the business should be an example to all others working in this field

always delicious food and good service in the car and kitchen café. if the weather is good enough, it's great to sit outside and watch some people. the shop is also a favorite as there are some quirky and creative brands that they do not see in many other outlets. good for: books about eating and drinking luxury kitchen implemented and accessories gift items such as ceramic, scarves, bags and ornaments soft toys for children (jellycat similar) gift cards and luxury gift wrapping table crockery and kisses and throw designer clothes for women

My wife and I had a few days in Settle to trek some of the surrounding walks and sites. We ate in this cafe on the first day, whilst also perusing the shop downstairs; loved it and went back everyday after.I liked the pulled pork sandwich which fell apart in my mouth as well as the fresh made scones with home made jam.My wife's favourite dish was avocado on sourdough toast with herb tomatoes.....and of course she added a side of crispy bacon.All in all everything on the menu looked great and the owner said that they make changes to the menu seasonally to give the customer seasonal variety.
