"we had a late lunch here (Friday, 20th august 2021) and it was great. the young were helpful and timely with service. the menu is beautifully varied and the food was of excellent quality. the Sorbet ice cream was particularly good. I enjoyed a prise of zider and a prise of landlord, both refreshingly pure. sign of a well kept cellar and pipes. well made room people! we hope to visit again soon. it would be nice to see a few things for children, such as Crayons/Pencils and color leaves, but they still get five stars for a well-functioning pub experience. Thank you."

I brought a group of 9 people for Sunday lunch and we were greeted by a friendly gentleman named Ollie who was very attentive in helping us. We all enjoyed our meal thanks to everyone involved.

08/06 Popped in for a quick pint, so relaxed with such friendly staff and customers I stayed for two. Will return.15/06 Returned. Ate, drank, all good. Chef and young lady serving both great. Might just return again...

we were hoping for speculators that we had sunday roasts, we were not disappointed! the young behind the bar could not have been more helpful. Although they were fully booked, they offered to serve our dinner in the bar, which was really no problem as we were sitting next to the fire! good eating, very helpful friendly staff and good price. Thank you!
