"We went on a Saturday morning, we had reserved a table for 4 but it was not too busy at 10am. The cafe is very clean and spaceous with lovely views of the Cathedral. The service was very good, the waitress was very cheerful and helpful. The food was well presented and tasty, I had the Eggs benedict and it was delicious. There are also some lovely books, cards and gifts available in the shop. We left and on getting back to our car my grandaughter realised she had left a teddy in the cafe, her Mum then ran back and the lovely staff had not only found him but had also managed to send her a message on Facebook to tell her he was there and safe..how thoughtful and considerate."

The restaurant offers a beautiful view of the Cathedral from the window, but access can be difficult due to three steps. I found the snack-type food to be a bit overpriced for my liking.

The food and drinks at this restaurant are fantastic and affordable. The wait times can be a bit long, so it's best to go when you have some extra time to spare. Overall, the prices are reasonable.

A very brief coffee stop here on the recommendation of others. The staff were extremely pleasant and friendly on a very busy Saturday. The coffee and croissants were very good. The range of meals on offer looked good and those we saw being consumed by people with a wide variety of ages seemed to be going down well. We were sorry we had to leave for an appointment and hope to visit again soon.

Conveniently situated across from the Cathedral, this cafe offers a spacious layout with ample room between tables and a variety of seating options. The friendly service and reasonably priced food and drinks were satisfactory, although the panini with a small salad and vegetable crisps was a bit underwhelming. The cafe also features a gift shop, making it a place worth revisiting if in the area.

There is a lovely ambience in the newly spacious cafe, coupled to the delicious fresh food and genuinely friendly helpful staff whilst, maintaining the Christian value. That they are now open Sundays with their new traditional Sunday lunch Menu is a God-send to many of us as Sunday is the day when everyone is already busy with their families. You would happily eat Sunday lunch here on your own without being out-of-place, whereas one would feel uncomfortable and/or conspicuous eating Sunday lunch alone in a pub. Excellent! Thank you.

A large airy space , with lots of natural light. There is plenty of space between the tables and the seating is comfortable too. Service is very efficient. Orders are placed at the counter at which time you will need to know your table number. This is a popular place and tables are not left empty for long. There is an extensive menu and a specials board too although as we discovered, the list is not updated so we'd recommend checking availability first before queuing up to avoid disappointment. Quality ingredients are used and the bread is lovely and fresh. Portion size is good too.

"My friend and I wanted somewhere different to go for some late lunch and so we decided on the Cosy Club. Although my friend had been once before a while back, it was my very first time visiting. As you walk in, you're greeted with an almost vintage-y feel and it's great! Old paintings upon the wall and retro furniture too, but that's not all. Ascending the stairs to the top, we got to the first bit of the club which is the bar area and what a fab area it is too, to relax and enjoy and Beveridge or two. Further down is where the restaurant is located and a lovely restaurant it is too. Very ornate with a fancy oldy-worldy vibe, almost like stepping back in time. The decor and glass chandeliers make for a very luxurious, almost palatial feel. The staff were really friendly and showed us to a table where after a short time of waiting, we had water poured for us before choosing what we'd like to eat and drink. I decided to go for the dirty chicken burger and I'm glad I did. The portion size was great, and there was plenty going on in the burger; the flavours were tantalising! Everything was cooked really well and tasted good (oh and the berry cider they have is certainly worth a try! After spending time enjoying our meal, we paid for the bill and were able to make our way, with our drinks, to the bar area to take a sit and enjoy the vibe further. I would certainly recommend the Cosy Club to anyone looking for something different, with a cool vibe and great food. Thank you to the staff for a pleasant and enjoyable visit, will certainly be returning! :"
