"I just wanted to write a short review of The Chapel at Cotford-St-Luke. My wife (Bev) and I took my mother (Betty) to The Chapel, to celebrate her 98th birthday. We took her for afternoon tea on the 13th March, in the coffee shop part of The Chapel. On arrival we noted that there was a card for my mum and some ‘birthday bunting’ on the wall. This was a nice touch! Mum was then pampered by the staff (they were superb) there and this was also really appreciated. The afternoon tea arrived and it was a sumptuous feast…. The sandwiches, cakes, scones, tea and Prosecco were excellent: both in quality and value for money. The whole experience was superb and my mum loved it. We shall be back soon…. If you want a quintessential English culinary experience of the highest class and you live in the South West, then please do pop in to The Chapel: you will not be disappointed!"

Such an amazing pub and now with an outside bar for when the sun shines. They've done such a great job in creating a welcoming and wonderful pub.

It was very hot on the mezzanine floor area. Sorry but the food was overcooked and tasteless. The portions were far too large, meaning food was wasted. Service was friendly and attentive and there was a good friendly atmosphere.

We visited with friends for the craft activities and breakfast. The craft was a brilliant idea for our 8 year olds. Breakfast was delicious. The cakes looked superb but didn't try one. The building is lovely with a nice atmosphere. Would like to visit again try the cakes and/or the main menu.

Had a wonderful lunch at the Chapel. Some of us had a vegetarian Christmas lunch and two of us had a vegetable quiche plowmans. All food was excellent as was the customer service. Venue certainly has the wow factor. A little chilly but we expected this after all it is a chapel, you just dress appropriately!

We used The Chapel for a meeting venue today. The staff were brilliant, keeping the tea flowing and even allowing us to move to a quieter spot later on. We had lunch and the food was beautiful. We were pleasantly surprised at the portion sizes, very reasonably priced. I think it's safe to say that we will be back again!

We booked a table at the chapel for Sunday lunch. We had the roast menu, my partner had the nut and lentil loaf, I had the roast pork loin. Both were served with roast potatoes, carrot and parsnip. In side dishes they served cauliflower cheese, green beans and buttered cabbage. The food was absolutely delicious and a bigger enough serving to suit a big appetite. Service was professional, polite and swift. A gem of a place in a lovely setting. A place I would highly recommend.

We booked a table and told them we had 2 disabled guests so would like to be seated downstairs, the table we were offered was upstairs. We had pre-ordered our food (as they requested) and it took 40 minutes to arrive, and then one of the meals took another 7 minutes to arrive. Two of the pizzas were burnt on one side and barely cooked on the other. The chicken burger was overcooked. The other meals were, I'm told, ok. To top it off, the staff member taking our drinks order didn't know the difference between larger and ale, I consider this a lack of training issues.

"What do you want me to say? there is probably not enough superlative to describe how delicious a food experience we had. how many people I wanted to eat here already, but last night all stared and we could get a table. the waitress who welcomed us was worried that the kitchen would not be able to cope with as they were a worker and the kitchen was busy with other tables. (we arrived at 21:30 on a busy Thursday without an extended booking after we checked with the kitchen that we showed on our table and warn that it was a 30 minute delay on eating. we ordered drinks and munched on Bombay mix while looking for the menu. nice not to choose from an enormous selection. I had garnel as starter and my partner had kabeljau. we also ordered our net. selection of chickens, lambs or vegetables thali with various beside dishes. I chose chicken partner to choose lamb....if the starter arrived (in less than 30 minutes we realized that we were there for something special. beautiful presentation and taste not disappointed. both cooked to perfection and full of aromas that did not mask the fish. then came the net. fabulous presentation of separate dresses that contain our chosen court and bombay aloo, raita, dhal and rice. there was a beautiful cone poppadom on the teller and we also shared a naan. it looked fantastic and tasted incredible. the dahl was so good that I had eaten a bowl of it alone. super delicious and beautiful spicy heat that does not exaggerate. our individual dishes were immediately shared with each other, as they were too good not to share. the poppadom was super crispy without fat and more taste than for a simple pop natural....a manifestation! lamb was melted in mouth and the chicken had a real chicken flavor. we have licked the bowls pretty clean. we had enough space for khulfi. 4 elections....Coconut, pistachios, rose and saffron and kardamom. we had two and were blinded by all. the pistachios and cocosnuss were really beautiful and the rose and juice card a really unusual joy, especially the rose. the whole experience was enchanting and we chatted with the cook (which was in the restaurant that talked to all the hunters and cook! how much we enjoyed the meal. Please visit this restaurant. it is worth every penny, and we look forward to going back and telling everyone we do the same."
