Went tonight for 2 year reunion with ex work friends. Table extremely clean. Service brilliant, staff even took photos for us. Food first class. Very attentive staff. Will continue our catch-ups here

The restaurant is a very clean and modern space, yet it also features some lovely old touches, such as an open fire. The bar staff were friendly, and the food they offered seemed quite popular, though I didn't get a chance to try it during my visit. I only had one drink this time. Ver carta

I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant for lunch, and it was a delightful experience. The cost per person was around £20 to £30, which I found to be very reasonable given the quality of the food. I highly recommend their Fish and Chips – it was absolutely fantastic! Absolutely excellent pub! We walked here ten years ago when we visited the area and decided to return this weekend while we were back. Nothing has changed (for the worse). The location is fantastic, the food is delicious and great value, and the staff is really friendly. We visited as four adults, but there were also families with children who seemed to be enjoying their experience. Highly recommended, plus there’s ample free parking nearby.

Dog friendly pub area with a lovely fireplace. The food was great! We had pea and ham soup as starter, which was hearty and yum (with a little kick which was great for a cold day). The lamb was really delicious and generous in portion too. The chicken satay was delicious as well, nice spicy, and the homemade satay sauce was good (not authentic but good enough). Crispy beef was deliciously sticky. There is a lot of chicken in the Chicken Cesar salad, lovely and moist meat which was given a garlic herb rub, really delicious. The service was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble, friendly and attentive staff. All and all, two thumbs up! Ver carta
