We have had dinner many times here. The food is very good as is the ambiance. Service was fast and attentive without being too much. I would definitely recommend this gastro pub.

Normally the food is excellent but unfortunately on this occasion the food was very average. Hopefully it’ll improve otherwise an expensive meal for what you get. Hopefully it was just a blip!

Had a lovely evening at this location with my partner and mother. We were running late and they amended my booking time with no fuss. The food was excellent and the wine list was more than adequate. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I would thoroughly recommend this establishment. Ver carta

Poorly cooked pasta, crackling so hard that pliers wouldn’t have broken and burnt pastry too thick. Our booking was not shown on their system causing a queue at reception, even though the table was booked through OpenTable. Shame, was expecting a pleasant evening to celebrate fantastic GCSE results for my daughter won’t be coming back anytime soon.

When we arrived, they didn’t have our reservation on record. I mentioned that I had booked through OpenTable, but they had no information about it. It seems there was an issue on their end that needs to be addressed. Fortunately, they were able to accommodate us anyway. The food was excellent, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was friendly.

First of all, the table we booked online was not available when we arrived at the pub, so we had to wait for a short time. The service was quite sluggish. We had to ask for water to be brought to our table twice. The waitress seemed unfamiliar with the dessert options. The dessert we ordered, which we were told was a new addition to the menu, ended up being a disappointment. It resembled a piece of frozen arctic roll with a scoop of ice cream on top, all covered in some meringue. It shouldn't have been served at all and definitely needs to be taken off the menu. Ver carta
