I had the Coronation Chicken sandwich along with a soup, and I must say, the service was delightful and the food was quite good as well. I would definitely consider going back! Food: 4, Service: 4, Atmosphere: 3.

This is a fantastic pub and restaurant. Despite being busy, the staff encouraged us to dine with them. My partner ordered the lamb, and I went for the mixed meat platter. My dish was served on a cold plate, which made me take off a star, and one of the cuts of meat was also a bit cold. However, the rest of the meal was delicious and enjoyable. I shouldn’t have ordered the passionfruit cheesecake, but it turned out to be delightful as well. I would highly recommend this place!

This is a fantastic place to eat! The staff is friendly, the food is excellent, and it's dog-friendly in the bar area. I visited in late April with my adult son and our small dog. We're a family from the south of England and were new to the area while touring the NC 500. We tried the veggie burger, which had huge portions and was served quickly. The bar staff were exceptionally friendly and professional, going out of their way to make us feel welcome and relaxed. I would highly recommend this place! Ver carta

The food is served piping hot and is absolutely delicious. They have a wide selection of drinks available, and you'll find TVs to catch the sports action. The restrooms were clean, and there’s a little stove to keep things cozy. For a group of four, the bill was around £100, featuring top-quality steaks. Vegetarians will be pleased, as there are plenty of options on the menu. Plus, there’s ample parking available—about 12 spaces right next to the bar, and it's free. Expect to pay around £20 to £30 per person.

Came up for an impromptu early dinner, we arrived 10 minutes after opening of the restaurant upstairs to find the doors locked. Went to the bar to be greeted by a friendly barman who had to go and ask the staff upstairs to open the door. When we were shown to our table we were initially impressed by a nice clean dining area albeit quiet as we were the only people in attendance. This later on made more sense as the food, staff and general atmosphere were abundantly inept. The food took a very long time to come as did the drinks orders. They had to retake one drink order due to missing alcohol from stock. The garlic bread we were served was a bizarre tasting mess of a muffin like consistency....

Glorified Public School Dinner food hiding behind a beautiful scenic dining area. Server wasn 't too bothered about their job, kinda like it doesn 't matter what food they did and didn 't have in that day. Seemed very excited when leaving the table to tend an empty bar. Didn 't ask once if food was okay, if they had I 'd of mentioned the myriad of wrongs occurring upon the three plates in front of us. Ordered from evening menu, beef burger, chicken burger and garlic bread. The former two came with undercooked chips (as if the fryer was just turned on for our meal), pale onion rings, two dimensional tomato slices (two of per burger), two measly leafs of lettuce and no house sauce of any kind....
