"We enjoyed our experience so much that we returned two nights later to celebrate our actual anniversary dinner. The front-of-house manager recognized us immediately and welcomed us warmly, maintaining that friendly atmosphere for our second visit. Without a doubt, whenever we plan a return trip to Scotland, Greens will be on our itinerary! As for pricing, both visits cost us around £30-40 per person, which included one drink, one entrée, and one dessert — a truly reasonable price. Regarding vegetarian options, while I didn't specifically ask, I noticed plenty of items marked with (VE) for vegetarian. When inquiring about celiac accommodations, we were informed that nearly the entire menu, including desserts, could be safely prepared with the right precautions. I found it quite impressive to discover such an accommodating restaurant in a small city. Overall, we rated the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 stars. We especially recommend the brownie, slow-cooked lamb, and seafood dishes."

"This is not our first visit to Luigi and certainly won't be our last. Chris and the front of house staff are all wonderfully attentive and welcoming without being intrusive or overbearing. But the real star of the show is the excellent food. For once I resisted the enticing crispy duck and watermelon salad and went with a beautifully fresh and zingy crab starter followed by rigatoni with sumptuously slow-cooked beef cheeks. Both were delicious. All four of our party had something different and none of us was disappointed. If I have one complaint it's that I wasn't fit to take on a dessert. I cannot recommend Luigi in Dornoch highly enough. Surely the best food in the Highlands."

"Visited last week for the first time in a while (tourist) its a bakers I alway make sure to call i to when I’m in the area on holiday. Staff are always nice, but seem to answer your order with a question every time! For instance I ordered a bread roll with cheese tomato, “is there anything else to order from the kitchen?” No thanks, can I have two cream doughnuts, “is there any other cakes with that order?” No thank. What pies do you have? “ ” went through them that fast I could only remember the mince potato which I ordered and was lovely. I do recommend you visit this bakery if you are in the area but cake selection is not great however what they do have is alway lovely. Now for the star I deducted from the rating….. How very disappointed to learn that they no longer sold my favourite ice cream!!! WHY? Your ice cream was the best ever but you no longer sell it! I can’t understand why, it was always a favourite with everyone I know. I even travelled to Bora in the hope they had it but no, I came away disappointed as the ice cream was another reason for visiting this little gem. Please tell me why you stopped selling ice cream. If you do happen to visit this bakers, get the cream doughnut, its to die for seriously, best ever….."

"The quality is excellent, the prices OK however we felt let down when we bought a can of drinking chocolate which had a limited shelf life left. We didn't notice until we got home and wrote to the but never got a response. It wasn't cheap so we expected more in terms of service and adherence to sell by dates."

"Went here for dinner on our overnight stay in Dornoch and I wouldn’t visit again. Customer service was so/so. Popadoms were fresh and hot, lovely with the dip tray. Starters were nice also. The problem was with the main, rice is small probably only suitable for one person, we were served chippy chips which to me is awful with an indian dinner! The chicken tikka masala tasted like what can only be described as a sweet and sour sauce it was awful. Garlic nan bread had nothing garlic about it was burnt and tasted like oil. Definitely wouldn’t visit again."
