The Coffee House - Carta

This was my first time actually enjoying a breakfast at this restaurant. It was absolutely delicious, from the friendly staff to the delicious food. Thank you.

Terrible experience at this restaurant. The food arrived flattened and cold, so we immediately threw it in the garbage. I would not recommend this place at all.

The food was decent, the staff was friendly, and the food was average. Nothing stood out as exceptional, just okay. The only downside was that the cafe tended to be cold because they left the door open. We tried hinting at how chilly it was, but they didn't seem to get the message.

I waited an hour for a cheese and onion sandwich and some chips. Then waited 45 minutes for a cheese and onion panini. The food was cold and of average quality. On top of that, I got food poisoning from this meal, likely due to cross contamination. I would not recommend this restaurant.

We have had many deliveries throughout lockdown this year and the food is always really lovely . Arrives hot and within a good time. During a detour in Dartford to fix a puncture, we stumbled upon The Coffee House and were pleasantly surprised. The staff were very friendly, the service was quick, and the coffees and hot chocolate were delicious. We also tried their homemade milkshakes, which were outstanding (especially the Oreo and Caramel flavors). The bill was lower than expected, showcasing the cafe's great value.

I ordered a breakfast takeaway from this restaurant through Uber Eats. Unfortunately, when it arrived, two out of the three sandwiches had thick black hair stuck to the bacon. It was very off-putting and made me feel sick, so I ended up throwing the whole order in the bin and not consuming anything. I spent £22 on the order, and when I complained to Uber Eats, they initially refused to give a full refund. After some discussion, they agreed to refund £8.90 for the two sandwiches that had hair in them. This experience was absolutely disgusting and left me feeling very unsatisfied.

First visit to this establishment yesterday. Very polite staff. The customers were seated next to each other so no social distance between us being followed so we felt a bit uncomfortable. Waiting a long time for our food to arrive. Two other tables of people were given their orders before us and we were seated at least 15 minutes before them. Not that our food order was complicated just a toasted sandwich and a baguette and two cokes. When the food arrived it was very nice. However payment was made by my mother who wasn’t aware of the discount and was charged the full amount unbeknowing to myself until we had left the restaurant.
