"We couldn’t believe our luck finding the Apple Tree whilst visiting Sennen. A fully vegan cafe in a beautiful location. The staff are exceptional and the menu is fabulous (we were spoilt for choice! . Amazing portion sizes such great value for money. Definitely the best vegan food we had while on our holiday will return again in the future!"

"So let us share our experience, We went in tonight as a family after seeing that it home made food on the drive to sennen and looked online and had a good look at the food available on the menu also looking to see if it was dog friendly and it ticked all the boxes, Upon arrival me and my wife went in 1st to ask if we could have a table for food and if dogs can go inside and staff were a little unsure but they confirmed we could upon asking for a table for 7 but one in a pram he said we don’t have the availability to cater I was looking at a table big enough and eventually said that this table was available whilst being seated we had 2 table one clean and the 2nd just been finished with so needed a clean but he came and cleaned both tables and he squirted the cleaner on a clean table and the over spray bounced off the table and went over our selfs then we were handed a menu freshly printed A4 paper thrown on the table (WET TABLE) so they stuck to the table upon agreeing what we wanted we went to the bar within 2-3 mins of being seated we knew what we wanted and when we asked for the meal it was OUT OF STOCK (Sunday lunch) ok fair so as I was with a family member at the bar I quickly rushed back to the table to ask my daughter of an alternative she wasn’t happy, So I made a meal up of all the extras on the menu so I went back to the bar to find my family member ordered 2 fish and chips then I realised my wife also wanted Sunday lunch so I quickly rushed back to ask her what she wanted and went back to the bar just as my family member left and asked for fish and chips was also sold out also! 99% of the menu was SOLD OUT this should of been discussed upon arrival not as we were ordering I run and operate my own business and this isn’t how I would treat my customers this isn’t how an establishment should be ran! Even when I was standing trying to order a member of staff was standing there arm against the wall doing nothing while customers are standing waiting to be served! So we decided not to eat and my family member went back to the bar to ask for a refund as we couldn’t eat as a family and the staff were iffy about offering a refund but 10 minutes later they did refund my family member as it became a scene for other people as they could see what had happened! This establishment should be call the 1st and late time you come here! We ended up walking to the chip shop down the road for food we are very disappointed in this company and establishment! For anyone who wants to eat please make sure they HAVE STOCK how can this establishment run without stock? Never again tonight they lost over £200 revenue due to this situation!"

"Charming and friendly pub! We didn't have a reservation, but after checking with the chef, they were kind enough to accommodate us at 8:30 PM. The food was fantastic, and it was a pleasant surprise to find vegan options available. The staff was wonderful, and the atmosphere was delightful. Additionally, it's interesting to note that scenes from the movie "Straw Dogs" were filmed here."

"I ended up at this restaurant after the Cornish Pantry was not serving breakfast and the café was closed! What is wrong with these places? Well, there is nothing wrong here. Even though I was not a guest, after a 5-hour drive they let me eat here and have their buffet breakfast. I don't even remember what it cost, but it was worth every penny. The breakfast had good quality ingredients and everything was cooked well. The scrambled eggs were particularly delicious - not like the block of yellow goo you get at so many other places. My compliments to the chef for doing it right. I also want to mention the lovely young lady who allowed me to eat here and, to top it off, after my long journey she called me "my lovely." She made my day."
