Always got nice food and a fair price. Also they keep a good choice of drinks and again at a reasonable price.

Lovely food and just the right amount served. Pudding finished off a great evening. Staff and surroundings very welcoming.

never had a bad meal in the eckhaus and the Sunday dinner was the most impressive frying. great hard working family supply great food.

Have been to the Inn twice in a month! That's a record. Visited with friends and then with son and partner after raving about the Sunday lunch. He was also impressed. Don't take my word for it try it.

went to the eckhaus gasthouse for my nanna birthday last week, we all really enjoyed I ordered steak and ale cake, which I recommend, but portions were so great that I could not eat everything. I'm 100% going back.

(October 2019) Lovely food with a large selection to choose from. With friendly and professional staff. As a party of five, we were taken to a more private area (a table seated for about seven), and that privacy was wonderful. I hope to return there in the near future..... And we did! In January 2020. It was jam packed with customers, it is certainly a very popular place due to the excellent quality of food, reasonable prices, atmosphere, and custom.

We arrived at the restaurant at 2:10 on Monday, just 20 minutes before they stop serving food at 2:30. We were left waiting by the door as staff walked past us. The woman at the bar inquired if we had a reservation, which we did not, even though the restaurant was nearly empty. She informed us that they close at 3 and it would take 10 minutes to take our order, leaving us with no time to eat. This lack of customer service was completely unacceptable. It seems we are not the only ones who have been treated poorly due to their strict closing time. We will not be recommending or returning to this establishment.

on Tuesday evening, the 24th May at 19 o'clock, it was very busy in the restaurant, but the staff was brilliant, courteous and friendly. we were a party of seven and asked if they could fit us, the men said they could, but we could wait one. we ordered a selection of drinks and sat within twenty minutes with menus and our orders were taken. the quality and amount of food we had was great. the menu had a great choice and very reasonable price. the party we were in was traveled by london and earth. I have no problem when they visit their gas house at my next visit and recommend to anyone who visits this part of wales to look for this little gem.
