Lovely little pub in Southampton which we often visit when picking our daughter up from university

Great food, great service. Beautiful place, many friendly people. Will definitely eat again here. All employees were helpful and always with a smile x

Lovely lunch with old friends food was very good and service was speedy ,but the waitress spoke to us like we were all 5 years old and it was quite patronising .

Lovely restaurant and excellent service. One disappointment was that my lasagne was, at best, tepid and tasteless. My other half enjoyed his choice of Hunter’s Chicken.

Warm friendly atmosphere staff was very professional and spot on. meal was superb l strongly recommend for lunch or dinner. Many choice on the menu also Thank you will definitely book again soon

The food was fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. The staff was very friendly. They even let us improvise a little birthday party. Very cozy atmosphere. All in all, a very pleasant experience. I'd go back there.

We come here once a month for Sunday lunch with our Son when we visit him a Southampton Uni and we are so glad we found it. Lovely place with fabulous staff. Our waitress was Claire again today and she is friendly, helpful and fun. See you next month :

Very crowded and staff very busy covering all tables. Chicken and sea bass meals were good, the lamb dish a little less so. Apple pie was well received, but apple and blackberry crumbles had been left too long in the microwave and my spoonful of crumble was more like a sprinkling. We did not consider it good value for the bill of £138.

I booked a dog friendly table for a party of 3 in advance. Then I called to let them know that we were 30 minutes too late for traffic and was told that this was okay. When we arrived, there was no dog friendly table available. Luckily, we had decided not to bring the dogs in the last minute, but it could have completely extinguished. Our waiter was polite and helpful. He made a mistake with our order. One of our meals came from the kitchen cold. The cold part was replaced. The meal was over 60 pounds. The whole experience should have been perfect, but it certainly wasn't.
