"If you want a tradition beef roast dinner don’t order here . everything tasted sweet and the Yorkshire was dried out to a crisp . The atmosphere is non existent and the music from the bar banging out is all you can hear . The acoustics of the restaurant are terrible and everything is loud . The young waitresses are polite enough but don’t wear appropriate clothing , cropped tops and bellies out is not really suitable for someone serving your dinner. We were the only two people in there for most of our meal and yet had 4 different people serve us and not one asked if everything was ok with our food . Iv really feel the whole set up is for your 18 to 30 age range and not really the place to go for a couples meal."

Nice old pub with food in bar and attached restaurant. Dogs allowed in the bar. Food is good quality and large portions. Staff friendly and helpful.

The bar was a bit loud (acoustics) but had a lovely beer garden and the restaurant was quieter. Staff were friendly. Food was lovely and reasonably priced. Would go back.

Well presented pub and I enjoyed a gluten free steak and chips with onion rings very nice. Our waitress was very good as we were a large group, wasn't till we got home I thought I don't think we tipped her apologies.

We came here in may and really enjoyed it having been here 6 months before and been disappointed. The food and service were great. Very baby friendly too with good changing facilities and pram access. Will come back. Only criticism was it seemed slightly over priced.

Went here for 'adult ' food after attending gt granddaughter 's 3rd birthday party, at the Village Hall. Staff were lovely and helpful, indoor and outdoor seating, really nice food. Good selection of non-alchoholic drinks. Toilets clean and well maintained trained, good car parking
