Came today for my sister's birthday meal everyone had an excellent meal felicity served us and was very attentive and professional all staff were friendly and good service thank you Ver carta

We were amazingly well looked after by Holly, Kathryn and Lynda. Had a great birthday party at the D&D, from drinks to the main meal to the pudding. The staff even sang happy birthday to the birthday girl.

Waited 45 minutes for food. When brought out they'd forgot to put the chicken on my plate (mixed grill)... they'd clearly reheated Mt food in the microwave My medium steak was more well-done. Not the best quality meal I've had to be honest. Staff was lovely though

The Dog and Duck are at the lower end price wise so don't expect silver service or some fancy expensive dinning experience. That said the meals we had were of good quality and size for the cost and the selection of cask ales they had on was excellent. Overall a pleasant evening. Ver carta

We came and dined with you on Wednesday 10th at lunch time, the meals were fantastic best we've had there for a while, when asked if a new chef has arrived we were told no, it was our new assistant manger who has just joined us had cooked our meals, wow well presented and of excellent quality. Hope she will be cooking for us again when we come in next week. Thank you so much for a delicious meal

Terrible place, ran by teenagers. Waited a long time to get some simple sides, had to send it back twice! Then when the manager came over with the third lot of replaced chips he dropped them all over my friend and onto the floor. Didn’t apologise and made excuses for the trainee chef. No compensation offered. Staff weren’t present and basically didn’t care about customers well-being. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

Table of 24 for my son’s 21st birthday. Booking was smooth and easy. Communication with the pub before the party was excellent. The managers suggestion to bring photos on a usb stick to play photos through the tv was an excellent idea and made the day even more special. Food and service was excellent, very friendly and accommodating staff. We spent the best part of four hours at the pub both inside and out. Beautiful outside area with play area for the young ones. Will definitely be returning. Ver carta
