"Absolutely wonderful place to stay and eat. Everyone was so friendly and the service was great. The food was good, with a wide choice of dishes, only sorry we couldnt stay for sunday lunch. The rooms were spotlessly clean Really dog friendly (as opposed to dog tolerant) especially as we have 3 2 large standard Poodles and a Cockerpoo and often find it hard to find a place that will take 3 dogs. Really recommend a stay. Rooms: The room in which we stayed was large, with a King size bed. Absolutely spotless. The bathroom was large and designed to accommodate disabled people and is equipped with a wet area shower. Nearby activities: If you like walking there are loads of trails and walks very close. If you have dogs there is a field next to the Inn where you can let your dog have a run with no concerns about running on the road (not that there is much traffic anyway)."

The place is closed. Booked for three days. When we arrived, they suggested another place to go. Staff were helpful but waiting to be redundant. Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 1

We came across this gem while on a bike ride. Not our local area so was a welcome stop off for some lunch. The food we both ordered was burgers. We agreed hands down one of the best burgers we've ever had. Amazing. Service: 5 Location: 4 Hotel highlights: Luxury
