The downfield/DoX …. Table service is poor not been there for a while but after tonight won’t be rushed to go back

You will struggle to get a better curry anywhere in Dundee... Staff are attentive and friendly and you get a decent pint too! Place was buzzing and the staff were run off their feet but this didn't impact on the quality at all! Ver carta

i have spent many a happy hour at pantos and plays in here Although the cast haven't changed for many a year that doesnt matter. the downfield hall is quant a bit like a proper old fashioned theatre plush seats and an ice cream vendor at interval

Not 5 stars bc of buffet night ..... it was poor selection and lower quality than their main menu ....if going to buffet go around 5pm if you want fresh and more choices last table is 6:30 as we were and I was disappointed there was only korma sauce left no chicken There must have been a plague of locusts in earlier.

Curries are always good however classic meals aren't as consistent. Tried the buffet and selection is good however if your vegetarian I wouldn't reccomend as you can only get macaroni as a main option at the buffet. Don't get me wrong it's good macaroni but not worth the cost of the buffet. I feel this should be advertised as such. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Ver carta

Well the staff here are great. However I asked for glutan free celiac). They brought my food out with a huge nan not a glutan one). This made me question if the food was safe for me eat. Was assured the rest of my food was safe for me to eat. So I ate it and it was great food. Certainly not GF as I have been ill all week. If you have food sensitivity or allergy I would not recommend this place. However if not the food is really good.

I came out for a family meal (4 people) and it was such a waste of money! We waited an hour for our starters and these were then served at different times (not ideal with kids).. Then, the pastry for the 2 steak pies came out freezing cold, these were sent back for 1 to come out close to burnt. I ordered a prawn Indian curry (which I've had before and it was delicious) however the prawns came out raw!! This was also sent back for them to come out still grey and slimy! The female toilets hardly flush and there's only 1 that locks! When my Husband mentions all of this when paying the bill the member of staff gives a response of oh sorry but was everything else okay? Not even a mention of a dis...

Amazing food, but some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Every time I’ve came here or ordered food from here, there’s always been an issue. First time I ordered collection from here they gave us someone else’s order and we had to go all the way back to change it had to wait another 30 mins for it to be fixed and also had to ask for some sort of compensation as we weren’t offered anything. Every time we’ve tried to book a table on the phone they’ve says there’s no space and we’ve went there to see and there’s been plenty of tables and we’ve asked for a table and they said there fully booked for the rest of the night although there is about 3 customers in the whole place.
