Had a lovely meal last night at The Drum , made to feel welcome and service was spot on . Ribeye steak cooked just right , salad lovely and fresh

One GF, one vegetarian perfectly catered for and served by the lovely Sarah who made sure my GF husband was fully aware of what he could and couldn’t eat. Love this pub!

My wife and myself dined at The Drum last night, and we are really please with the evening. The manager and staff were ever so friendly and we ate our dinner next to an open fire, highly recommend thank you. Ver carta

Have been a couple of times for lunch this week and the food was delicious. After a lovely walk around Cockington on a a cold day the pub was welcoming warm and inviting. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I look forward to the next visit.

This spot is great for sunday roast, we were sat by the fire, the staff were welcoming and helpful, we had Sarah take our orders and dean was bringing out the food to us he had impeccable manners and was very warm and friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed

This was our first time visiting the drum inn and all I can say was we were pleasantly surprised, we were seated by a lady named Emma who was so lovely and welcoming. Our server Kathleen was incredible, such a sweet and attentive lady, really made our experience relaxing and comfortable. I had the sirloin steak and my partner had the gammon and the food was amazing, thank you Mitch and the kitchen team for such good food! We will definitely be coming again very soon! Ver carta

The Drum is our local and it was lovely to see it so busy. We went on Thursday evening and the place was full. Despite this the service was very good. Jade was excellent and brought our drinks promptly and took our dinner order. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. She checked several times to make sure that we had everything we needed. I wish I had half the energy Jade had as she was jogging up and down the stairs with everyone’s orders and making sure all was ok! We look forward to visiting again soon.

Given a £75 voucher by daughter for my birthday. Really looked forward to special meal. Both starters same had over rope avocado going brown, was slush not nice (hidden under lettuce) very little avocado provided. Main meal Sea Bass was overcooked, dry, with burnt skin covered in sauce veg that spoiled taste of the fish. Other main meal veg so overcooked turned to green slush couldn't tell what veg was! Inedible. Very dry potatoes tasteless fishcakes. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING. Not worth half of cost. Nice coffee served with inedible but of flapjack. Left restaurant still hungry

We were swiftly greeted at the bar (unsure of the name of who greeted us, but it was on 25/01 at 6:30pm and seated at the table we’d requested in the reservation notes. All of the service was timed brilliantly, no long waits but also ample time for us to choose drinks and food without feeling rushed. We are both vegan, so ordered the soup and arancini to start, curry and the aubergine dish as mains, and crumbles for dessert. All of the dishes were flawless in flavour and presentation and came out in good time. our chef tonight was Kieran, so thank you to him for a gorgeous three courses! Very pleased to have somewhere on the doorstep that puts just as much of an effort into their vegan food!... Ver carta
