Love this place so much, great selection of food that tastes excellentAwesome variety of cask ales and other local favorites.

The Drum is a must-visit for anyone in Cockington. Whether you choose to dine inside or outside, you'll enjoy the peaceful and picturesque surroundings.

The food and service was good but 4 of us did first have to send back our Sunday roasts to warm up as they arrived a little on the cold side. It seemed a case of hard working, polite staff being run off their feet. Hot plates would help.

The food quality was average and disappointing, similar to what we would expect from our local pub. However, the ambiance was pleasant. Unfortunately, the staff seemed unaware of our booking when we arrived, but they were able to find us a table.

The Inn is attractive from the outside with adequate seating and space for children to play, and the bar area is comfortable although can be crowded. The dining area though was bare and ‘cheap’, like a bad motorway station. I will not take guests there again. Ver carta

Having steered clear for many years heard you had improved. Had Sunday lunch with 5 , we all enjoyed our meal. I have since retuned upon 6 different occasions all good. I have recommended you to many friends approx 18 and no complaints .... Thank your chef.... I am back again this Sunday...table for four.

We visited this restaurant for lunch on New Year's Eve and found it to be very busy with families and dogs. It was nice to see a place that welcomed them, but it did get a bit chaotic. Fortunately, we had booked a table in the restaurant area, but navigating to the toilets was a bit challenging. However, don't let this deter you from visiting. The restaurant is in a beautiful location with scenic views. The staff were wonderful and the food was delicious.

Three of us chose the new wagyu beef burgers but were disappointed the taste seemed like regular burgers. We wanted them cooked medium but that was not possible according to management. Other food options were good with excellent presentation. Seemingly an isolated large place in a small village yet quite close and easy to find but you have to navigate a one way system. We would definitely go back but avoid the wagyu beef. This would make a good place to visit regularly. Ver carta
