A lovely, cosy pub with a great atmosphere—rugby on the screens (which we liked) and a welcoming side room for dogs. The menu had a good selection, and we opted for the roast. It was a nice touch that all the trimmings, including cauliflower cheese, were included and available for extra helpings. However, while the service were great, the quality of the food itself was underwhelming. The roast beef in particular wasn’t the best portion was quite small also quality not great, which let the meal down overall. Pleasant experience, but not enough to make me want to return. Ver carta
