The Sunday roast at this restaurant is incredible! The atmosphere is cozy and perfect for gathering with friends and family. The food is comforting and made with top-quality ingredients. A must-visit!

It's been a while since I had been and I was worried that it might not be the same under new ownership. I needn't have worried it has the same passion, professionalism and great organic and sustainable food and wine. It was good to be back!

Love this pub! Tucked away on a side street, so close to the busy High Street but feels miles away. Had a great organic lager. Friends ordered a full meal, which they said was fantastic. I just got some sourdough bread and it was out off this world. Service was friendly and fast. Even my dog loved it! Ver carta

Had a great meal here on a Friday night, delicious wild garlic soup sourdough bread. Interesting wine list, lots of unusual delicious things to try. We were served by a lovely waiter in the main bar area and sat outside for our desserts coffee. The brownie is a must try! Love the info on where all the ingredients come from on the menu a lovely map on the wall outside.

Food very average, staff without a clue with no sign of management or anyone in control of the venue. We were also served cheesecake which had a taste and smell that it had been sitting out for days. When I asked the waiter to find out when the cheesecake was made, they returned to the table without an answered and just cleared the dish. Service was below standard having to ask multiple times for a second bottle of wine and to have the used starter plates cleared before mains arrived. Overpriced, overcrowded and overrated. AVOID.

I frequently visit this restaurant when meeting up with friends from different areas. The atmosphere and venue are lovely, with a good selection of drinks and cocktails. We received table service and the staff were fantastic and attentive, even with our large group. However, the menu is quite limited and seems a bit expensive for what is offered. The main dishes, such as the chicken, appeared to be lacking in portion size for the price. I opted for the crab on toast, which was delicious but not very filling as it was just a starter and the only interesting item on the menu.
