Really tasty meal. The lamb burger was delicious and the homemade onion rings to die for. Large portions too. Well worth a visit. Really friendly staff too.

stop the flap at 1 o'clock. pity, we hoped to enjoy the beer garden. this is quite common in wales, even in juli! obviously we will not be back, as there was no indication of opening the times.

The only pub in Rhayader with a beer garden giving views of the mountains. A welcoming pub with great food beer and friendly staff. A warm welcome from New and old patrons. Is also dog friendly. A hidden gem .

found the eagles inn tonight, which is under new management. great couple. good food. the garden is beautiful in summer. look at them on facebook as the website is on the TripAdvisor page of the former owners.

Absolutely superb service, food, view and beer/cider!Amazing that the owners have only been running this since February! Please give this pub a try and you will not be disappointed in any way. I just wish this was my local!!!

First visit here since new management. On arrival we had a very friendly welcome. My husband is coeliac and the chef was happy to discuss a selection of gluten free options. We opted for fishcake and chips and really enjoyed our meal and can recommend. Will definitely visit again.
