"Went for lunch with my mum on Sunday. Food was lovely! We ordered of the £5 menu (served from 12-3) the portions were huge! Mum ordered the soup and sandwich but didn't really feel like having the soup so we asked to swap the soup for chips instead and there was no problem in doing so! Food was fresh and really tasty!"

I have a nice stay here. the staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are a good size and very well equipped with everything they need. eating was excellent and generous. they would stay for a peaceful break, much to do round or just stay and relax. Ver carta

We were only there for two nights but couldn't fault the place ,the service and food was spot on and everything was lovely and clean , they even put some great weather and a Blues Festival on just for us hopefully we'll be back again next year. Steve (the Wailer)

I stayed in the b&b ! Lovely atmospheric country pub, dog friendly and close to train station (5 min walk). Rooms excellent size well furnished with quality bath/shower rooms. Surprisingly modern considering the age of the building! Breakfast was excellent and plenty of it . Will definitely go again.
