waits for the old one to eat. poor service and management .

we had lunch for adults and three little children a few days ago. service was fast and friendly. the food was excellent. most of us had the roast beef/pot. it was tender and tasteful. a long table was set up in the large separate opposite close to the fireplace. we enjoyed the ambiente and will be visited soon.

A few days ago, nine adults and three small children enjoyed Sunday lunch at this restaurant. The service was quick and friendly, and the food was fantastic, with most of us choosing the roast beef or pork which was tender and flavorful. We were seated at a long table in a spacious area near the fireplace and loved the cozy atmosphere. We will definitely be returning soon.

amazing! what a transformation in ambiente and service. we drove past the filly inn this Sunday when we saw how full the parking lot we were curious and decided to try the Sunday dinner. we had visited this pub a year ago and were not accepted. I can honestly say that was the best Sunday dinner we had in one. especially well done by catching a seat through the log fire and being served by that, and the new manager who described the food and how it was served ingeniously. well made new owners definately worth a visit. we see at xmas mandy dave

I can honestly say this was the best Sunday lunch we have had in a while.. made particularly good by nabbing a seat by the log fire and being served by Dan , aparently the new manager who described the food and how it was served brilliantly. We booked the family room, which was at the back of the hotel sandwiched between the kitchen and restaurant. A dark converted store room which was ok at first glance. The bathroom was cramped and dirty, the shower kept going cold and if you were over foot tall you couldn't get your knees between the toilet and the wall!! The beds had springs coming through and the carpet was dirty and sticky. We decided not to eat in the restaurant as the prices was extortionate, so we went out instead. We had an early start the next morning so just wanted to relax in the evening and watch tv......well that was a joke as the noise from machinery in the kitchen was so loud you couldnt hear the tv and to make...
