The atmosphere is amazing and the staff is very friendly. However, the real surprise was the high quality of the food. It was a truly memorable dining experience!

The service was quick and friendly, and the food was very nice. We requested potatoes instead of chips with our meal, and it was no problem to accommodate our request. We will definitely be returning with more of our family.

Best meal I've had in years, lovely warm clean pub. Manager or owner very helpful and positive, well attended and although full we were invited to have our meal. The toilets are spotless , a lot of credit to the staff that makes this pub so popular.

We booked here for 5 of us to have breakfast. Very welcoming and nothing too much trouble. The food was absolutely gorgeous and piping hot. Good quality produce used. I would say butchers sausages and bacon. We will definitely return as we really enjoyed it

We popped in for a pub lunch between Christmas and New Year having completed a bracing walk at Covehithe. We were warmly welcomed and served at our table. We opted for fish chips and gammon, egg chips. Food came swiftly and was delicious. The fish was crisp and freshly cooked and the chips were delicious. Would highly recommend this lovely little pub. We had our Christmas work meal here yesterday, the service food were top notch. They catered for some of our group with dietary requirements surplus to the menu made us feel very welcome looked after.. I hadn't eaten here for a few years, but the food is so much better than it used to be.. Looking forward to returning soon. Well done team, keep up the good work!

Sunday Family Lunch What a wonderful and enjoyable lunch. Food was great, served hot and plenty of it, good portion size. Staff were welcoming and friendly being attentive at the right moment. We were a large group of 11 and served quickly. Our preorders were correct. The pub had a lovely ambiance with some attractive features. Will visit again when in the area.

Based on the reviews I found on Tripadvisor, I thought we would try it for our four nights B&B. The room was clean, bright and airy and together with the pub location, it suited us perfectly. All of the breakfasts were very good and well presented and our host for three days, was a very friendly and welcoming team member. His name is Brett and he gave us exceptional service where nothing was too much trouble. Every visit to the restaurant for breakfast was exactly the same in that Brett was full of cheer and good humour. He ensured that what we ordered came to our table piping hot and was perfectly in accord with the order that he took. Ver carta
