"We have very mixed feelings about this pub. A very good point, the food is excellent! The beers too! Plus, there's live music. Concerning the rooms, the children's room was rather comfortable and well decorated. Unfortunately, that of the parents did not correspond at all to the confirmation or to our expectations. The bed is indeed large and comfortable but accessible from one side only, good luck if you have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night! And no bedside table on the wall side... Unlike the other bedroom, no desk, no chair... The bathroom is disappointing too! Endless waiting for lukewarm water in the shower, toilet impossible to use unless you take a gynecological position because the shower cubicle is 15 cm away. In addition, the heating did not work in the bathroom or in the bedroom and with an 18th century window everything is cold and damp. No hook either, and so if you took a shower in the evening, the towels are still soaked the next morning... Rooms: Be careful to have the confirmed room, room 3 should be avoided"

Superb breakfast, the food was excellent, on time, hot and exceptionally tasty. The young lady serving was attentive, fast, polite, friendly, efficient and very friendly. Stayed here for a golf trip to Kent. Quite disappointed with the room that was mouldy and dirty in the bathroom, the live music was so loud that the toilet seat vibrated in our room. I mean it’s fine that there is noice when you stay above a bar but this is not ok by any means.. that the whole room I vibrating until 12 p.m. I have stayed in similar hotels in the uk but newer experienced this kind of loudness. Staff is otherwise polite and food was good. But cleaning and loudness makes us choose another place for our next visit.
