The food menu is mostly vegan, with a few vegetarian and a couple of meat options. The owners are vegan. Great traditional food including pasties, soups, and sandwiches. Great beer options too. Dog friendly.

Went here for lunch (8 of us! and absolutely loved it. Great choice of choice plant based food. Not often you get more PB options than ‘traditional’ fare. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and will definitely return!!

I discovered this pub while hiking with three of my vegan friends and it was a hidden gem! There were plenty of delicious vegan options, including dessert. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be visiting again next time we travel to the peaks.

Love it here! Staff are incredibly friendly, really good variety of vegan options (I can recommend the vegan fish finger sandwich). Traditional pub vibes and vegan beers are clearly marked. Situated right in the centre of the lovely village Stanton in Peak a proper hidden gem!

Tucked away in a small village near Bakewell, this restaurant offers a wide range of vegan options. The menu is predominantly vegan or vegetarian. We sampled the Hommity Pie and a seitan turkey sandwich, which was a special, and both were incredibly tasty. I wish I could give it 5 stars. Ver carta

We went here for lunch after a walk to Robin Hood 's Stride. Great, cosy and dog friendly pub with loads of vegan options I was spoilt for choice so much so the meat eaters in the group said This is what the menu must feel like in a 'normal ' restaurant for a vegan! Would absolutely recommend and the smokey whiskey old fashioned is also recommended.

This charming pub in a picturesque village just outside Bakewell is a hidden gem. The majority of the menu is vegan or vegetarian, with beers clearly labeled as vegan. The owners, who are vegan themselves, are friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. The food was exceptional and surprisingly affordable, with most dishes priced between £6-£7. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, giving off a traditional homely vibe.

Situated on the corner of a junction with a small area for car parking opposite the pub this fabulous small unspoilt country pub has a surprising menu. Most of the menu is vegan! One side of the pub is for adults only while the other accepts children and dogs. Although you don’t need to book it may be best to avoid the disappointment of not being able to secure a table if wanting to eat. They do have a seating area by the parking and you can order from your table using an app. We had an enormous burger and the homity pie followed by chocolate cake and Icecream, plus sticky toffee pudding with cream.
