I recently had dinner at The Fountain and I must say, the food and service were excellent! The special menu options were all tempting and the regular menu had great choices as well. The atmosphere was friendly, the beer was fantastic, and the location couldn't be beat. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I had the F-belt with blue cheese and it was cooked perfectly. My wife ordered the cold bark sandwich, which was also very good. We ate in the bar where our dog was allowed, and the atmosphere was fantastic. The staff were all helpful and friendly, just like the locals. Overall, the portions were generous and the food was excellent. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Amazing location, incredibly friendly staff. The food is fantastic and the restaurant is perfectly situated next to a cozy fireplace. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. There are plenty of nearby activities to explore in Grassington and Burnsall. The menu has a wide selection and offers good value. The rooms are comfortable and the service is top-notch. My family and I visited this restaurant on a Sunday evening, ranging in age from 3 to 73 years old. Everyone had a great time, admired the atmosphere, and enjoyed the food. We were pleasantly surprised to find some delicious vegan options available (not listed on the main menu), which meant our two plant-eating members were well taken care of. While we would have been content with a vegan burger, they had actual meals to choose from. The vegan hut cake was especially tasty.

Hi, I just wanted to inform you that as regular visitors to the Dales, we always make a point to visit the Fountaine Inn and typically enjoy our meals. However, on our recent visit on the 10th of October at 7:15, my husband was disappointed with his Burrata Salad priced at £16.95. There was no dressing on the salad, despite him informing the waiters twice that it was bland. Nothing was done to address this issue. However, the other meals we had were satisfactory. Overall, we rate the rooms a 5, service a 3, and location a 5. The hotel is also kid-friendly. -J H Johnstone

Wonderful country pub, gorgeous location and a superb place for a hearty warm pub lunch, proper Yorkshire portions, great beer and lovely staff. We travelled a distance just to enjoy the food because we knew we would! Been before and can’t wait to go back. Safety: Very secure, lovely area very safe with lovely local people Walkability: Amazing walks around Linton, easy to get to Grassington and Threshfield but is perfectly hidden for that little bit of escapism. Food drinks: Good menu, lots of variety, I’m Gluten intolerant and it was easy to follow. Also I was so happy to see gluten free beer!
