"Once a year, my friends and I come to this restaurant and we were very disappointed this time. The food was served cold, undercooked, or raw. We waited 40 minutes for someone to take our orders, and then an additional 90 minutes for our main courses to arrive. After complaining, we were given a 20% discount, although I think the food should have been free. We were not the only table to experience these issues, as we noticed at least 3 other tables around us also had complaints. It's a shame to have this experience at such a nice pub, as we have never had this problem here before."

We enjoyed our experience at the restaurant, however, the service was quite slow. Fortunately, we were not in a rush and didn't mind waiting. It seemed like there was not enough staff working at the time.

A pretty good Sunday dinner at the Fox. The place was busy and very suitable for families. Service was fast and efficient. Overall reasonable price-performance ratio. Would not push back, but also not avoid.

Heidi made a massive difference, what a brilliant Waitress/Manager, she made us laugh, she was incredibly helpful and really made a difference to our family meal outing. The restaurant lacked a little bit of atmosphere but Heidi made up for it. For was hearty, not brilliant, but not bad for a pub. The kids loved it and we laughed all evening, mostly courtesy of Hedi

Mothers Day Lunch with parents-in-law. Venue didn’t even take note of OpenTable booking request, if father-in-law hadn’t called to enquire about changing time we’d not have had a table. Very limited menu to choose from, and even though we were part of first sitting lots of things missing from said limited menu. What was served was only lukewarm. Very disappointed, won’t go back!

This local pub is a solid choice for a meal out. During our recent visit, it was busier than ever, resulting in longer wait times for our food and drinks. Unfortunately, when our meals arrived, they were not as hot as we would have liked. Despite this, we chose not to complain or send them back. We continue to frequent this pub because we know what to expect. The Hunters Chicken is a favorite among the men in our group, and two of us ordered the Duo of Lamb.
