The food at this restaurant is excellent, the atmosphere is elegant, and the service is friendly. There's a cozy spot in front of an open fire where you can enjoy drinks afterwards.

Unknown. Walked in and asked for a table for 2 and got told it would be 30 mins. I said I'd wait. Then she came back 10 mins later and said it'd be a 45 minutes wait. So I won't bother going back to find out!! Service: 1

We'd been hiking and called in here for a meal,but the kitchen had just closed for meals, but we were able to have cake and ice cream. The ice cream was lovely, tasty, and very moreish. Superb choice of flavours. Big pot of tea ,enough for 3 of us. Lovely clean place with seating outside and dog friendly. Would go back again definitely. Price per person: £1–10

I don’t know what’s happened to this place. We used to come here regularly and It was one of our favourite places to come for food locally but in the last 12 months it’s really declined. We haven’t been here since we came for dinner around Christmas time last year which was terrible. We decided to go back recently and see if things had picked up. Initially all seemed to be back on track and the food was really good. Unfortunately this time it wasn’t the taste of the food but the food hygiene. we went to the Furnace café for vatertag. we had pizza, but when it came, there was an unusual smell. my man and I were hungry and also our little boy. we were a couple of discs when I was suspected, I saw one of the meat slices under the cheese gray. I've pulled out a little bit and it's very good. Unfortunately, my man had eaten a lot of it when he was convinced that it was marinated meat in lemon or something unusual. the staff was beautiful and did not calculate for the pizzas, but unfortunately were in the night my man and I were so bad. to the happiness our little boy had only margherita pizza so that he was in order. it happens and people make mistakes, but it ruined vatertag. the caf...
