"The staff were wonderful—helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable about their menu. Our special waitress, Flo, was particularly fantastic. The food was simply incredible. My partner is quite picky when it comes to food; he doesn’t easily say something is good unless it truly is. However, we were both thoroughly impressed with what we had. I've included some photos so you can see for yourself. It’s quite busy, which just goes to show how good it is, so I recommend making a reservation. This place is definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area. In fact, it's worth visiting the area just to dine here!"

Popped in for a swift tipple around 19:15 in September and was lucky to catch a fantastic sunset from the lower garden. Beautiful building, nice service, popular place for food. Will come back soon to enjoy the snug cosy room with log fire.

What a fabulous pub. From the moment we arrived we were so well looked after. We had time for a pre lunch drink in the beautiful garden. We all had a great roast and delicious desserts. The cheese board is also worth it. Thank you to all the friendly staff.

I enjoyed a delightful lunch with a breathtaking view from the deck on Easter Sunday. We indulged in tender roast beef, followed by delicious sticky toffee pudding and a lovely cheese plate. The cheerful, attentive, and efficient staff made our experience even better. Ver carta

We started with the soup of the day (potato and leek) and the grilled cocktail for starters. For the main course, we both opted for the chicken dish. Everything was absolutely delicious. While you can find a good pint anywhere, for the best food, friendly service, and great drinks, don't miss out on the George and Dragon. Stop by; you won’t regret it!

could not recommend this little gem anymore. from our first contact was carole amazing. very friendly and accommodating. eating was amazing and the personal was very aware of the allergies and nutritional requirements. beautiful of a lot of employees who were all very attentive. You'd be crazy not to stay here when you come by. we'll be back. many thanks to all xx

This is a very attractive pub with cask beer and a good selection on the lunch menu. We had a generous ploughman's for £17 and a seafood platter also £17. The cask bitter was, unusually, chilled and I prefer it at cellar temperature but was offered a very good bottled alternative. It's in a lovely location with impressive views from the garden though we ate inside as it was a bit chilly. Ver carta
