My wife and I recently had a reception at this wonderful venue. The staff and service was exceptionally professional and very accommodating. The food was excellent and generous in portion size. The facilities were charming with a great back garden. Highly recommended!

Really one of the most beautiful meals I've ever had! Chips were boiled to perfection, Coleslaw was untouched and the burger was simply elite could not get enough of it! And also the popcorn chicken was just delicious. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming. Very recommended

First time visit but not the last! We booked a table last minute for 9 people and 5 dogs, all the food came out together and was so good, the best roast dinner ever! And their vegetarian wellington was very good. A lovely pub, great customer service and very dog friendly, would highly recommend a visit

I really enjoyed the interior as well as the food and drink at this establishment. It reminded me of a time passed. In particular, the staff was very eleemosynary and seemed to have treated their jobs with dignity and grace. Categorically however, a young man served me a glorious roast meal with utmost respect and valour. Will wish to be dining here again!

Visited for some food before watching the carpet. The staff were very friendly, there is a beautiful atmosphere and land modern feeling in the pub, there was a nice warm fire going. The syrup had gone to our drinks and there were no problems to change them. We all ordered various burgers, the food came fast was hot and tasty, I recommend the BBQ base. Will definitely visit again.

Almost One star off because my beer was not super cold. Lovely Sunday Roast! Great service, awesome staff. Food was delectable although the portions are massive. Definitely have kids ages 5-9 share a kid’s portion over 2 plates cause it’s massive. And if you’re not a gluten, don’t over order on the extras BUT do order the Cauliflower Cheese. It’s amazing!!!!! A 30min walk down to the magical and mysterious Abbey’s Pool afterwards to help digestion is highly recommended!!

This is our first visit post pandemic, and I am glad to say that it is not disappointed. We had the beef and pork for Sunday roast and shared a dessert. The place looks amazing and has such a warm atmosphere, but the main attraction, as always, should be the food. Both roasts hit the brand, super tasty and they came very fast as long as you book it should not wait. We had a Colly cheese as an extra, that was also in place!!! I can only say... We will try again to see the other options on this menu as soon as possible, I am pleased to see you all at the George Inn.

Our first visit to The George Inn had difficulties getting a reservation for a Sunday roast. The landlord was very friendly about the phone and although his bookings were full, he kindly booked us. We ordered the pig and the beef. It was so juicy and the vegetables tasty in a caramelized onion engraving. The Yorkshire pudding was good too. All in all, we enjoyed it very much and we were pretty full. My only criticism is that we had to wait to be beaten because we had no cutlery. Even if you like a pudding, there was very little choice. That's why we didn't. It also has a beautiful atmosphere

Cannot thank the George Inn enough for hosting our Wedding Party last night. Pete and the team were amazing, so friendly and accommodating with all our requests and so helpful throughout the planning stages of our party. The venue is fun and relaxed in a great location and perfect for the type of party we wanted. The private bar private room upstairs is a great space and very easy to dress and make your own. It also led out to the decking and garden and was perfect for our big arrival in the sunshine. Buffet food was also fantastic as we're the drinks selection. We had the best time and would highly recommend The George Inn to anyone looking for a wedding party venue.
