"Booked pre theatre dinner and it was far too busy for the poor waiting staff to cope. No time to get our dessert. Waited 45 mins for main course. Asked for no bacon in Caesar salad and it arrived with lettuce, bacon and chicken with dressing. Very expensive for a bowl of lettuce and couldn’t eat the bacon. Partner had fish and no complaints there. Didn’t complain to the poor waitress as it wasn’t her fault at all. Poor management and squeezing in far too many tables before theatre. We did get an apology but I’m sure every table got that. Wouldn’t put me off going again just not for a pre theatre dinner as they are full to capacity."

Needed some food while exploring Nuartaberdeen and passing here it smelled good so in we went, we shared a seafood platter that was top notch and grabbed a couple of drinks too. Not expensive at all for the quality wilp definitely eat there again. Ver carta

in the rule they go on a Monday evening in the globe because they are a pub quiz for the casual quiz goer, it is not excessively serious and so it is quite funny. the bar itself is beautiful, the toilets are clean, eating is decent enough and the staff are always very friendly. great pub to unwind with a few pints and good chat with good friends.

The restaurant was extremely busy and the kitchen seemed to be struggling with demand. They got our order wrong and I ended up having to a different main as we didn’t have time to wait for the correct meal. They did give me my meal free to make up for it. I don’t know if they were short staffed or not but they maybe shouldn’t have taken so many booking if they couldn’t cope. I had a voucher to use and don’t know if I would return.
