Excellent service, good value for money. Food was lovely and very attentive staff. Would thoroughly recommend it.

The food in this restaurant was 100% for the three nights we were there. The staff were pleasant and could not do enough for us. We would love to go again.

Excellent rooms, exceptional showers, good “quiet “ nights sleep, great dinner menu and wonderful breakfast. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff delightful. Well worth a visit and return visits. Great fun. Ver carta

This village's only pub seems to cater more to tourists staying at their lodges than to local residents looking for a place to socialize. The pub closes early, often immediately after diners have finished their meals, instead of being a lasting meeting spot for villagers.

Cant fault the food as it was excellent and deserved 5 stars however the staff service was poor , one of the young staff was very surly throughout the service and this after paying over £200. Not sure why last orders was called at 9.30 pm with paying customers still in the pub.

The food service, both in the evening and at breakfast were excellent. I asked for a variation of something on the menu because I don’t eat meat and it was no problem to the chef. We spent one night at the Globe Inn on our way to Scotland. The staff were all very welcoming helpful on arrival and throughout our stay. The room was small and a little tired but clean welcoming. As someone who has worked in the catering industry for years and recently retired, I wanted to share my thoughts on this restaurant. It is truly fantastic - the food is amazing. The tuna starter was the best I've had since leaving London 6 years ago and the roast pork was exceptional. The extra gravy and cauliflower cheese on the side included in the price was a nice touch. The cheese soufflés were delicious and the prices were very reasonable. This was possibly one of the best Sunday roast experiences I've had in years. Oh my God, this will be our new favorite spot for food. We live pretty close...2 villages away, especially for family meals and get-togethers. We have passed by many times and just never bothered to stop in. The exterior doesn't look anything special, but inside it's charming with an open fire typical of a local pub. The food is delicious, oh my God, I want to come back again and again. The specials and regular menu options were so tempting, I couldn't decide!
