"On our first visit to The Grapevine as a couple, we had heard many great things from friends. We had a table booked for 8:15, but arrived at 8:05. The staff immediately seated us and we ordered drinks, but I had to go up to the bar to order our food since no one had come to our table after delivering our drinks. It seemed like we had been forgotten, with waiters and bar staff running around the floor. We waited a while for our food, which was understandable considering how busy the restaurant was. The food was delicious and we would definitely come back to eat there again. However, I feel like we should have booked our table at least an hour earlier to avoid waiting so long. We ended up rushing through our meals and drinks, as we had made plans to meet friends in the village and didn't expect to be out so late. Overall, the experience didn't feel as relaxing or satisfying as I had hoped for my birthday. I wanted to order a personalized dessert, but felt like it would have been too much hassle and taken too long. Unfortunately, we had to rush to pay the bill and leave. It was a shame."

Smashing meal last night and pretty good value too. Great staff as well. They looked a bit harassed when we arrived but were very attentive and pleasant. A good pick for my wife’s birthday.

Have been here a few times now. Amazing food, cooked perfectly, nice wine list. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and are able to make great recommendations. Will definitely be back again.

We had a fabulous Mother’s Day !!!! Bar man made a fabulous mojito , the staff were so lovely and the food some had the Sunday roast and I shared Tapas with my Mum was fantastic .. can’t say a bad word , will be back x

I'm not normally one to write a review, however me and my boyfriend visited this evening and had such a lovely experience. The staff were very friendly from the moment we walked in and the food was amazing we will definitely be visiting again!!xx

I felt very welcome when my partner and I went through the door. the waitress who served our table was extremely friendly and friendly, and was always to check that we were satisfied with everything. eating was just delicious. we ordered a selection of tapas that was mouthwater, and the waitress recommended a magnificent tasting wine to accompany the food. we couldn't find anything, and a nice touch came when one of the chefs asked if everything was good. a very impressive little business! (and we later had a drink in the bar below)!
